About Ryan.

Hi, I’m Ryan Stephens

I’m a Mindset & Accountability Coach based in Swansea, Wales, UK.

My mission is to positively impact the lives of 10 million people through my support and content. For as long as I remember; I have always loved helping other people and found that it brings me joy knowing that someone is better off from my words or actions. This is what brought me to become a Mindset & Accountability Coach.

I have pursued many different occupations in my life, as well as set-up and closed many businesses in the past. All of which helped me gain more insight and understanding into the things that I love doing, as well as the things that I don’t.

This type of mentality and journey of self-discovery has aided me in removing things from my life that no longer serve me, leaving only the things that I truly love and enjoy.

I’m an Ultra Marathon Runner, as well as a keen, beginner Surfer and advocate of Cold-Water Immersion Therapy. I have run over 15 half marathons, 4 marathons, 5 ultra-marathons (one of which was a 100 miler attempt where I managed 70-miles), and lastly a Barefoot 30-mile ultra-marathon. I’ve also completed two triathlons, the Swansea Cement Run challenge amongst many other physically demanding challenges – most recently; a barefoot trail 30-mile ultra-marathon and a cold-water sea dip every day for nearly a year (340+ days at the time of writing).

The reason I take part in such challenges is to push the boundaries of my previously perceived mental and physical limitations. I find that the type of mental resilience you build from these challenges can be transmuted to apply to other areas of your life, therein helping you become happier, more positive, and with a stronger mindset.

Another life-changing experience for me was going to prison at the age of 21 after my first business failed. I was in a depressed state of mind due to issues within the business and started selling drugs as I was in a rut and knew the business was due to fail. I subsequently got caught and served 9 months in prison. This experience would usually be seen as a negative thing by many; however, I utilised my time well and gained qualifications in Counselling, Working with Substance Misuse, Mentoring & more. I also spent time reflecting on my decisions which over time gave me a new perspective on life.

I truly believe that any experience we go through can teach us valuable lessons, even if we can’t see it at first.

My mission to help 10 million people has been birthed from such past experiences. I intend to ensure that the people I work with are able to live their lives happy, fulfilled, and achieve as many of the goals as they set.
